Summer 2025 Programming
Summer Programs at Mulhurst have been happening for the last 75 years. Children and families from all over Alberta come and take part in our programming planned by an energetic seasonal staff team. Our programming is inclusive for everyone.​ From slip 'n' sliding, canoeing & kayaking, collaborative team based games, skits, songs, nature exploration to spending time playing sports, crafting, campfire & and more! We want to be a part of your summer plans at your favourite Place in the Son!​​

Payment is required at the time of registration. Payments made after one week prior to the start of camp will be subject to a $25.00 late registration fee. Cancellations made within one week of camp start are non-refundable. No partial refunds will be granted for late arrival or early departure. Refunds in the event of illness or family emergency will be considered on an individual basis. A payment processing fee of $25.00 will be deducted from all refunds.
July 6 - 11: Senior High Camp & LIT Camp
Grades 8 - 12

Join us this summer as one of our Leaders in Training (LITs). As a Leader in Training, you can sign up to volunteer at camp for one or more of our weeks of programming as a youth volunteer. Responsibilities include helping to supervise younger campers, help with dishes and cleaning, leading camp activities like campfires and games, and supporting your camp counselor in leading a cabin. LIT training is required for any youth wishing to volunteer at Mulhurst this summer as a LIT.
During LIT training this year, there will be a volunteer component helping with VBS day camp at St. Peter’s Millet church. Transportation will be provided daily. In the evenings, LIT training will be back at Mulhurst where training will continue. Don’t worry - there will still be lots of time for games, campfires, and time on the lake. Come hang out with friends your age; the leadership skills you will learn are transferable to school, church, work, and beyond. A great leadership opportunity to add to your resume!

*Upon completion of LIT Camp, we will work with youth to assign volunteer opportunities that work with your summer schedule. We are so thankful to everyone wishing to volunteer, but can not guarantee specific weeks for volunteering until youth have completed LIT camp
July 7 - 11: VBS (Vacation Bible School)
Kindergarten - Grade 6
$75 per week, or $15 per day

Mulhurst has partnered with St. Peter's to host a week of VBS. Programming runs from 9am - 330pm daily at St. Peter's with one day at Mulhurst Camp. On Friday, loved ones are welcome to join programming at 11am followed by lunch. Campers will participate in a wide variety activities from crafts, games, bible study.
Campers will need to bring their own nut free lunch & one snack will be provided.

July 14 - 18: Kids Overnight Camp
Grades 2 - 6

This is a 5 night, Sunday-Friday camp for children who have completed grades 2 - 6. Join us for a week at the lake spending time outdoors, making new friends, playing games, singing songs by the campfire, and more! You’ll enjoy swimming (lifeguard on duty), canoeing, crafting, interactive Bible studies, sports, our giant slip n’ slide, and staying in one of our cabins along with your fellow cabin mates and camp counselor!
July 27 (4pm) - July 30 (12pm) Family Camp
Adults: full stay $225 or $80/night (24 hours)
Youth 10 - 18: full stay $170 or $60/ night (24 hours)
Kids 4 - 9: full stay $120 or $45/night (24 hours)

Tell your family, tell your friends! Family Camp is back by popular demand! Come out for three nights (Sunday-Wednesday) to enjoy Mulhurst’s beautiful setting on the lakefront. Enjoy meals prepared for you, activities for the kids, conversation time for adults, swimming and canoeing at the lake, crafts, campfire sing-alongs, daily devotions, board game nights, and more. There’s something for everyone at family camp! Register per night (maximum 24 hour stay) or stay for the whole camp and save. All family configurations are welcome: grandparents, friends, cousins, single parent families, etc. Come on your own, bring your friends, or bring your family.

* All family configurations must have at least one adult over 21; families wishing to register only their children should register for one of our other camp programs.
July 30 - August 1: 2 Night Mini Camp

2-night Mini Camp is perfect for our littlest campers who are ready to dip their toe into an overnight stay at camp. Enjoy all of the fun things about camp and the excitement of staying overnight in a cabin, in a shorter amount of time away from home. Crafts, games, Bible study, songs, sports, canoeing, yummy food, slip n’ slide - we have it all!
Any kids staying after family camp to join us for Mini camp get an extra 10% off!
August 4 - 8: 4 Day Kids Camp

Join us for a week of fun activities and games at the lake, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about yourself and your faith in a supportive and inclusive community. Highlights include slip n’ slide, canoeing, mission impossible, campfires, yummy food, and more! Enjoy an unplugged week staying in our cabins, learning new skills, having tons of fun, and making new friends!
